Why is zip file downloading so slow

This problem is valid only for downloading big ZIP files, as websites located on this VPS work very fast static content! I would appreciate it if you could give me some pointers on what should I check in litespeed configurations to resolve this slow download problem. Thanks for your response. Whichever you use, try temporarily suspending that, while unzipping that folder if you trust the source and see if the extraction speed increases. How satisfied are you with this reply?

Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. In reply to DaveM's post on January 17, I don't use any 3rdy party apps and I have turned off Defender but the speed is still around 20 KBps. Hi itsron Try just copying and pasting some other large file on your hard drive, does that perform that copy operation at the usual speed, if so, your hard drive is Okay. If that is the case, the archive you are extracting may be corrupt Are you using Windows own built-in zip file extraction or some 3rd party zip utility?
